RE: Pex crimpers
I too use Flare-It. Easy peasy. If you have the spreader tool it makes it easier especially if you have old fingers. I carry a supply of different fittings.

RE: Teton Pass
Read the "Mountain West" directory. I will only take our truck over it either way. Since I be the head wrench on this rig, I try to manage damage control. Just recently a semi **** near destroyed a convivence store in Wilson. We have seen many motorhomes and fivers smoking brakes. What happens if Mr. Moose decides to cross in front of you. As another poster stated, the way around is a beautiful drive.

RE: New Orleans in April 2024
We also 2nd Bayou Signette SP. Nice and easy ride to NOLO and the French Quarter. Remember, if touring the French Quarter make sure to look up at the overhanging balconies. Can be very interesting.

RE: RV Axle Alignment Shop in Buffalo NY area
How about Scruggs Automotive? Googled them and they say they Elma. Also more shps came up on Google in the Buffalo area that I believe that Elma is a suburb.

RE: Trying to replace 120v outlet
wnjj, you are correct. The pictures I believe are of a two gang receptacle. Mine was a single RV style just like in the pictures. They don't use a box on them on any rig I ever had. It was an outdoor receptacle, the cover in turn fit outside the receptacle, the cover had ears that hold it and the receptacle in the wall by snugging up the screws. No box is ever used with inside or outside with this type of RV receptacle on any RV I have had. Hard for me to describe.

RE: Trying to replace 120v outlet
I just replaced a single gang RV POS receptacle. I had 1 5/8 inches depth to play with. Bought a single gang "old work" box, took a Dremel and cut the box depth down to 1 1/2 inch depth. Then pulled Romex into the box and fastened the conductors to a residential receptacle.

RE: Reno nv to West Yellowstone
I-80 to Wells, US 93 to Twin Falls, I-84-I-86-I-15 to Idaho Falls, US 20 to Weat Yellowstone. Piece of cake, decent roads. Ashton thru Island Park into West Yellowstone, a beautiful drive. We use this with a dually crew cab pulling a 40' fifth wheel.

Great, didn't think it would be closed long. Enjoy Island Park, Yellowstone and the rest of the area. One of our favorites.

RE: New RV Park, Idaho Falls, ID.
Sure the cost of development is high, but the there is no need for all the fluff. And there are other suitable options in the IDF area.
